Full release notes New features and enhancements Check out the full release notes below for a complete rundown on fixes and improvements in Ozone 9.1. With feedback and support from our users, we fixed a bunch of things under the hood. If you’re intending to update to Mac OSX Catalina, rest easy knowing that Ozone 9 is now fully supported therein. The controls “lock” in place when you’re adjusting, keeping your field of view clear while evaluating your moves. This is useful if you want to make small adjustments to the gain of an EQ node and not change its frequency, or vice versa. They say they knew from "usage statistics" that people didnt use standalone ? I always turned usage stats off as I have enough crap trying to track me already.A subtle but important fix users have been asking for, you can now “text scrub” in Ozone 9 just like in previous versions. I'll check out the stabilizer and impact modules to see if it's worth keeping.otherwise I'll be sticking with Ozone 9 advanced and requesting a refund. I know Ozone plugins generally don't play well with FL studio, as they always seem to have graphical lag, and I always used standalone, even though I own 4 or 5 other DAWs. I already had beef with izotope due to saved sessions not being forwards compatible, and now this. Mastering is a separate process to mixing, and the two processes should be kept separate. If i'd known there was no standalone version I wouldn't have upgraded. I just upgraded ozone 9 advanced to ozone 10 advanced, installed it and looked in the windows start menu, couldn't find it, hunted in program files, couldn't find it, uninstalled it thinking it hadn't installed right, installed it again with the same result, and at that point came online to search if there was a standalone version, and arrived here. Let me know if you have any questions or if there is anything else I can help you with, and thanks for supporting iZotope products! If your previous workflow included using the standalone app, I would now recommend you make a brand new DAW session file with one stereo track, add Ozone to this track and then import your stereo mix.Īlso keep in mind that, unlike the standalone app, using the Ozone plug-ins in a DAW will allow you to apply the same Ozone settings to multiple audio files and tracks. Remember, the Ozone standalone app and the Ozone plug-ins have always included the exact same features. Our usage analytics have shown that about 99 out of 100 Ozone users only ever used the plug-ins and because of this the Ozone team has discontinued the standalone app to focus on improving Ozone's DSP. In this case, Ozone 10 is a collection of plug-ins and does not include a standalone app. Sorry for the delay, we are experiencing a high number of traffic do to our recent product releases and are trying our best to address all our users in a timely manner.I'm very sorry for the trouble, I would be happy to help! Thanks for reaching out to iZotope Customer Care! ![]() This is the email I received from iZotope (I had sent an email thinking that the standalone app kept failing to install, not knowing it had been discontinued with Ozone 10):
